The efforts of “The Classroom and the Future of the Historical Record” at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign have laid the foundation for the creation of The Future of the Historical Record, a digital humanities collective whose affiliates include SourceLab and History Harvest. The Future of the Historical Record has its own plans for future collaborations with community groups, higher education institutions, and individual scholars.
